Email a person, not a queue.
There is no support tier, no ticket number and no chatbot in the corner. BookClay is small, and when you write in you are emailing the person who wrote the software you are asking about.
General
Questions before you sign up, whether BookClay fits how your studio runs, pricing, partnerships, invoices, or anything that does not fit the other two.
hello@bookclay.appHelp with your account
Something is broken, something is confusing, or you need a hand with setup or moving data in. Include your studio name and we can usually see the problem before we reply.
support@bookclay.appSecurity
Vulnerability reports and anything about a compromised account. We aim to acknowledge within two business days. Details on the security page.
security@bookclay.appWhen you will hear back
Same day on weekdays, and usually within a few hours. We are on Mountain Time in Denver, so a note sent late in the evening on the east coast gets answered the next morning.
Weekends are slower, because weekends are when the studio is busiest. If something is genuinely broken and stopping you from running a class, say so in the subject line and it jumps the queue, such as the queue is.
There is no phone number to publish. One person cannot take calls and also fix the thing you called about, and fixing it is the more useful half.
Before you write
Four things people usually email about
Two of these have an answer you can get right now without waiting on us.
- Want a demo?
- You do not need a call for that. The demo studio is a real BookClay account loaded with sample classes, members and kiln pieces. No signup, no form, nothing to sit through. Click around, break things. If you would rather have me walk you through it, email and we will find a time, but most people find the sandbox faster.
- Moving from another tool?
- Start with the switching guide. It covers what to export from where and what the first week looks like. If you send us a CSV of your members and bookings we will do the import for you, because that is the part people quietly give up on.
- Want a feature?
- Send it. It goes on the list, and the list is short enough that being on it means something right now. If it is something several studios need, or something that is blocking you from switching, it tends to move to the top quickly. You will hear back either way, including if the answer is that we are not going to build it.
- Need a signed DPA, a W-9 or a security questionnaire?
- Email hello@bookclay.app and we will send it that week. Before you ask: there is no SOC 2 report, and the security page lists the rest of what we do not have yet.
Or skip the email entirely.
The trial takes about ten minutes to set up and does not ask for a card.
